The Jonzing World frontline act is set to release his debut album after the success of his extended play projects, and it might feature a Jamaican superstar.
Talented Nigerian singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has hinted at a possible collaboration with Jamaican heavyweight singer, Popcaan.
The Jonzing World signee, who lost to BNXN in the Next Rated category of the recently held 15th Headies award, followed up the loss with the announcement of his debut album.
Ruger, who has already released three EPs titled “Pandemic”, “The Second Wave” and “The Second Wave (Deluxe)“, made it known that his first studio album will be released in 2023.
Speaking about his forthcoming album on Monday the 12th of September 2022, the singer made it known that the project will be a “gamechanger”. He also went on to thank everyone who has been contributing to making the album possible.
The gratitude post came after the sensational singer shared a video of himself and Popcaan on his Instagram page, a post that was also reshared by Nigerian singer and Ruger’s label owner, D’Prince.
The Ruger and Popcann collaboration, if it does happen, will definitely be one for the books due to the smooth blend of both artistes in dancehall.
